The event, organised by Mandy at the Silk Mill, was a great success. Mandy reports, ‘We had a massive 843 items of clothing taken away, with the 294 leftover items going to The Frome Wardrobe Collective for their first clothes swapping event, and to Frome Friends of Palestine for their next jumble sale. All helping to “Keep It Frome”!’ 

Mandy also asks us to pass on ‘a HUGE thank you to all the amazing volunteers from The Frome Wardrobe Collective, Everyone Needs Pockets, Frome Families for the Future and Frome Friends of Palestine, who gave their time and energy helping to make the Big Green Clothes Swap a great success.’

Some of the Everyone Needs Pockets mend & repair team were on hand to offer clothing repair advice and simple mends, clothing sustainability advice was offered by Frome Families of the Future, the clothing count was introduced, as were feedback forms.
