Tamara from the network is leading a series of free workshops, the first of which will introduce and begin the Big Silk Mill Quilt project.

Using up textile scraps and offcuts, we will sew and learn the art of quilting together, making for the local community, in an inclusive and welcoming environment where we come together to make and create.

Everyone is welcome. No sewing skills are required and all fabric and equipment will be supplied, although fabric offcuts would be welcomed, particularly black fabric.
